Why I Created AhavahKIDS Bloom
After spending years working with children, I began to notice something deeper than behavior or learning differences. I saw children who were overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, and struggling to regulate emotions they often didn’t have the words to describe.
As I looked around, I realized that many adults were experiencing the very same challenges.
Our world has changed dramatically. Many of us have lived through seasons of uncertainty, isolation, stress, and constant pressure. As adults, many of us are still learning how to regulate our own nervous systems, manage stress, and reconnect with ourselves. If this is true for us, imagine what it’s feels like for children who have been born into or are growing up in this environment.
Children deserve more than academic success. They deserve opportunities to develop emotional well-being, inner peace, confidence, compassion, and healthy relationships.
AhavahKIDS Bloom was born from the belief that wellness should begin in childhood. If we intentionally teach children how to pause, breathe, express their feelings, care for their bodies, appreciate nature, practice kindness, and build meaningful connections, we are not only helping them succeed in school—we are helping shape healthier adults and stronger communities.
My hope is that every child who participates in AhavahKIDS Bloom leaves knowing:
“I am safe. I am loved. I belong. I matter. I have everything within me to bloom.”
That simple belief has the power to change how a child sees themselves, how they interact with others, and how they move through the world. When we nurture the whole child—not just their academic growth—we plant seeds that can flourish for a lifetime.
